Breton flint arrowhead

Description

This is an unusual and quite rare design. The barbed and tanged points are certainly one of the more difficult British flint arrowheads to replicate, but some examples of this particular design were extremely well thinned and shaped. For this reason it has been suggested that many originals of this design were fashioned for burial rather than actual use. See the Breach Farm Barrow examples from South Wales. They are insane!
