The annual ‘PrimTech’ weekend – all first year Archaeology undergraduates at the Institute of Archaeology spend four days camping at West Dean, experiencing first hand a range of experimental archaeology from flintknapping to metallurgy to basketweaving to faience crafting. Always a fun and lively venue, this is a private event (UCL students only).
