Collection |
|
|
|
| Teaching
collections are usually catagorised by period and are priced
accordingly. However; as there are bound to be preferences with any
order,
prices will be quoted on request.
Palaeolithic teaching collections are usually quite large due to the
many
varieties of heavy tools. These are based on the typological lists
produced
by Francois Bordes. (Available on request)

| Field-walking
beginers pack
|
|
|
|
|
As
the popularity of archaeology increases, more professionals and
amateurs alike are taking to the countryside to "field-walk"
in the search
for new prehistoric sites. This pack will incorporate a selection
of
typical artefacts (replicas of course) that one would expect to find
throughout
the British Isles. Such as:-
* Scrapers
* Arrowheads
(some fragments)
* Blades
and Microliths
* Fragments
of flaked and polished axes (flint and stone)
* An assortment
of waste material of different qualities and colour.
The aim of this pack is to enable the new field walkers
to visually
familiarise themselves with the very material they
intend to find. Ideal for
interested individuals, amateur groups, professionals and supervised
children.
